The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a woman who has been missing since March 22.

Jennifer Elliott was reported missing by family members on May 2, 2024.  She had last spoken to her mother on Friday, March 22, 2024, saying that she was stuck on Viking Mountain and needed a ride.  At that time, officers with the Sheriff’s Department found her car and an acquaintance at the car on Viking Mountain Road. The man, identified as Anthony Walton, told deputies that Elliott had run off into the woods.

Officers were not able to locate her at the time, and she has not been seen or heard from since that date according to the family.  Her vehicle was photographed and posted to Facebook with a comment that it was located off the roadway on what appeared to be a connector trail to the Appalachain Trail.  The vehicle was going to be towed.

She is described as 5’2″ with green eyes, 31-years-old.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Greene County Sheriff’s Department at 423-798-1800
