Charlotte Malone Tweed

Charlotte Malone Tweed, 84, of Mosheim, passed away Thursday at Brookdale Senior Living in Greeneville.

She retired from Lenzing Fibers (Enka). Charlotte will be greatly missed by all, especially her nieces.

Survivors include two special nieces, who were like daughters: Tonya (Joey) Cloyd and Terra Graham; two special great-nieces: Sierra Cloyd and Madison Graham; sister and brother-in-law: Brenda and Kenneth Malone; sister-in-law: Pauline Malone; several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; special friend: Wanda Reed.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Freddy Kay Tweed Jr., in 2016; parents: Hubert and Selma Malone; three brothers, one sister and their spouses: Donald Malone, Bob and Mitzi Malone, Betty and Lyndell Smith, Glen and Brenda Malone; two nephews: Chris Malone and Keith Malone.

The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Roger Ealey officiating.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Doughty-Stevens at 12:15 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for the 1 p.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Joey Cloyd, Bryson Darnell, Jake Ottinger, Peyton Malone, Todd Hodges and Dylan Malone.

Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Gibson, Carl Edwards, Bill Arwood, Teddy Hogan, Mike Voiles, Lynn Malone, Bubba Tolliver, Adam Tolliver, J.D. Ashley and her special neighbors and friends.

Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
