Main Street Greeneville’s Lyrics on the Lawn summer concert series continues Thursday, July 24, with the fourth installment of its 2025 season. This week’s headliner, Ryder Casey Band, earned top honors at this year’s Music Mashup – Battle of the Bands and will take center stage at 8:00 PM. Singer-songwriter Adam Bolt will open the night at 7:00 PM.
The free concert will take place on the lawn of the historic Dickson-Williams Mansion in downtown Greeneville. The family-friendly series runs every Thursday in July, rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, schedule changes or cancellations will be shared through local media and Main Street Greeneville channels.
About the Performers
Adam Bolt is a seasoned songwriter and performer from Abingdon, Virginia, where he also serves as Tourism Coordinator. Known for his storytelling style, Bolt performs both solo and with his band, The Roas’nears. His heartfelt lyrics and regional charm can be heard across five EPs available on streaming platforms.
Ryder Casey Band
Rooted in East Tennessee, Ryder Casey Band blends country, bluegrass, and folk influences with the spirit of artists like Tyler Childers and The Allman Brothers. Whether on small stages or large, their shows are high-energy, heartfelt, and authentically Appalachian. Their recent victory at the Main Street Music Mashup in Greeneville earned them a spot as this week’s featured act.
Open Mic Returns
From 6:00 to 7:00 PM, guests can enjoy Open Mic performances in the Café/Food Court area. This opportunity is open to both kids and adults. To reserve one of the four available weekly slots, contact Jann at 423-639-7102. Performers can sing or play using acoustic instruments or Bluetooth via the mobile sound system.
Food and Vendors
A variety of food vendors will be on-site beginning at 6:00 PM, including Creamy Cup, Greeneville Graze, Que’ Bola’ Cuban Food, and Top Dog Hot Dog. Food will be served across the street from the mansion, with a designated dining area provided by Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Main Street Greeneville will also offer water and popcorn near the stage.
Greeneville City Schools Book Bus
The Book Bus will be parked in the gravel lot near the food trucks and Open Mic area. Kids are encouraged to stop by and choose a free book as part of the community’s literacy effort—help us bring “literacy to the lawn!”
What to Bring
Concertgoers should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Picnics are welcome, and while the event is smoke-free and alcohol-free, pets are permitted in the designated Fido-Friendly area at the top of the hill. The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and perfect for the whole family.
Support and Sponsors
This event is made possible by Main Street: Greeneville with support from generous sponsors including Andrew Johnson Bank, Eastman Credit Union, Radio Greeneville, Tusculum University, and many more community partners and volunteers. Donations are encouraged to help cover event costs and support downtown revitalization. As a 501(c)(3), Main Street Greeneville greatly appreciates community contributions.
Final Show – July 31
The series wraps up Thursday, July 31, with Club Rewind, an ‘80s tribute band that promises a high-energy night of nostalgia from 7:00–9:00 PM. Costumes encouraged—so tease up that hair and break out the neon for a night of retro fun!
