The FBI provided an update this afternoon on escaped fugitive Sean Williams, who is now believed to be in Florida.
Williams was reportedly spotted in Pinellas County, which is located near Tampa. Late last week, the TBI said Williams was spotted in the Sylva, North Carolina area.
Williams has been on the run from authorities since October 19, when he escaped from custody while being transported from the Laurel County, Kentucky Jail to the federal courthouse in Greeneville.
Williams is a former Johnson City businessman facing numerous charges, including rape of a child, especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated sexual battery of a child under 13, and distribution of meth. He also now faces a federal escape charge.
A reward of up to $7,500 is still being offered for information leading to an arrest of Williams. Anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 1-800-TBI-FIND.
