Several planning requests were on the agenda of the Greene County Regional Planning Commission during the monthly meeting Tuesday.
That included approval of the lot size on the 16.7 acre property of the Hampton Spring Pump House and Load Station. The site, located adjacent to Greystone Road at Middle Creek Road, will be where Eternal Water will be extracting water.
Residents in the area of the pump house and load station voiced concerns last year that an outside company disturbing the flow of the spring water near Greystone Road would affect the water levels. Truck traffic concerns were also brought up.
Eternal Water has a lease agreement with the property owners where the spring is located. Following TDEC approval, Eternal Water moved forward with plans for the spring water bottling facility which is currently under construction in the recently named Greene Valley Business Park.
