The Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency (UETHDA) announced that the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for 2025-2026 will begin later than usual, with applications opening on November 1, 2025. No applications will be accepted before that date. LIHEAP, a federally funded program, helps low-income households with home energy bills by sending payments directly to utility companies.
