Bitter cold temperatures are expected next week, with temperatures in the teens and wind chills in the single digits.
The center of the artic air mass is expected to be over west Tennessee, but temperatures here in our region are expected to be well below normal. The cold is expected to head into the southeast by Monday and linger most of the week.
Below freezing temperatures are forecast for as far south as the Gulf Coast.
