Glen Hills continues to restore service to their customers, many of whom are south of the Nolichuckey River.
As of Saturday evening, there were still a few areas where service hasn’t been restored due to some leaks in the lines that are impacting their ability to fill storage tanks. The largest affected areas are in the Poplar Springs and Cedar Creek areas.
Glen Hill General Manager Chris Myers said that their crews have worked throughout the night and today to turn water back on in that district. Crews will continue to work on Sunday and through next week in those restoration efforts.
Customers around the district and throughout the county could still see some sporadic outages water fills the storage tanks and equalizes in pressure throughout the system.
