A wanted Midway man was arrested after a wreck Friday evening at the Erwin Highway and Shiloh Road intersection.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the minor crash around 7:30 PM. A driver involved in the wreck, Marty Hyatt of McDonald Road, was discovered to be wanted by the United States Marshall Service.
After Hyatt was placed into custody, a search of the vehicle produced 11.1 grams of methamphetamine, several baggies, a spoon, and a set of scales. He was also in possession of nearly $400 in cash, which was seized by the Drug Task Force.
In addition to the warrant, Hyatt also faces charges of the manufacture, delivery, sale of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
