Police received a call of a disturbance on Roller Street Friday night.
At 9:00 PM, officers arrived on the scene to find the victim lying on the ground, bleeding from her foot. According to the report, a male she knew had taken her Ford F-150 and had run over her foot while leaving. Warrants were taken out on Skylur Burkey of Stone Dam Road, Chuckey, for aggravated domestic assault and motor vehicle theft.
Close to midnight, Burkey was located in the stolen pickup by Greene County Deputies, and was arrested for unrelated charges. Police went to the Greene County Detention Center and served Burkey with the aggravated assault and motor vehicle theft warrants.
