Pipes, syringes, scales, over 50 baggies and more was found this morning after a vehicle was pulled over for an improper tail light.
Officers conducted a traffic stop after 1 AM at the Fairgrounds Road and Snapps Ferry Road intersection. A passenger in the vehicle had an active warrant for failure to appear so he was placed into custody. The driver was known to have a drug history, according to the report. Officers requested a K9 to the traffic stop for an air sniff.
The K9 gave a positive alert on the driver’s side of the vehicle. During a search, officers reportedly found scales, 2 glass pipes, 50+ baggies, 6 syringes, a cut straw, and Adderall in a backpack. Another male in the vehicle gave a false name during the traffic stop.
The man finally admitted his name was Stephen Tuggle. According to the report, the items found belonged to him. Tuggle was placed under arrest for unlawful drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation, and possession of schedule 2 drugs. The driver was given a warning for the improper tail light.
