Smoke was reported coming from the Thomas Howard McNease Educational Center, next to the Vocational School, on Hal Henard Road this morning.
The Greeneville Fire Department received a call about 9:55 AM about smoke that was coming from the roof of the building. Radio Greeneville News spoke with Battalion Chief Erich Winter, who stated the Fire Department, evacuated all who were in the building. It was discovered that a motor had burned on the HVAC unit, which is what caused the smoke.
Classes have resumed and no injuries were reported.
