Nine students from Greene County have been named to the Walters State Community College Honor Society for the fall semester. To be eligible, students must complete at least 12 hours of college credit while maintaining at least a 3.5 grade point average.
Greene County students include Lauren Smith of Afton; Kelsea Ramsey, Shianne Reagan, Candice Redmond, Lorenzo Ruiz, Jonathan Smelcer, Kimberly Taylor, Jennifer Thomas of Greeneville; and Robert Dawson of Mosheim.
Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community college students, inducted 78 Walters State Community College students for fall 2022.
