A Jonesborough man was assaulted Sunday in the parking lot of Graysburg Hills Golf Course after a dispute on the course earlier that day.
According to the report, the victim was playing golf and stated two people in front of him were playing at a slow pace. The man told deputies that he yelled and cursed at the two men telling them to hurry up but that they continued playing slow, so he hollered at them again.
Later on the man said as he was getting to the parking lot, one of the men dragged him off his golf cart and began assaulting him before leaving the lot. Civil procedures were advised.
