The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Greene County in east Tennessee.
* Until 530 PM EDT.
* At 450 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Greeneville, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include Greeneville, Tusculum, Mosheim, Baileyton, Chucky, Camp Creek, Romeo, and Davy Crockett Birthplace.
This includes Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 22 and 35.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
