The 14th Annual American Downtown Celebration on Saturday, July 4th, will be held near the picturesque Big Spring in Bicentennial Park. This year’s theme is, “Stars, Stripes & Small-Town Spirit”, a day filled with music, food, family fun, and fireworks. The celebration kicks off at 4:00 PM with live entertainment, a Kids’ Zone, and a wide variety of food vendors. As the evening continues, attendees can enjoy the return of the hot dog eating contest, a nighttime parade honoring the USS Greeneville’s 30th Anniversary, and a spectacular fireworks display. The free, family-friendly event has become a beloved Independence Day tradition for residents and visitors alike.
