The Nolichuckey Valley Volunteer Fire Department announces the 1st Annual Nolichuckey Makers Market, taking place on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 133 Mathes Circle, Chuckey, TN 37641.
This first-of-its-kind community event will bring together local vendors, handmade goods, small businesses, delicious food trucks, family-friendly activities, and interactive fire department experiences for a fun-filled day supporting the local community.
The Maker’s Market was created to celebrate local businesses and provide an opportunity for the community to come together while supporting the Nolichuckey Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Admission to the event is completely free for the public.
Attendees can expect a wide variety of handmade and locally crafted items, unique shopping opportunities, food trucks, and family activities throughout the day. In addition, the fire department will host interactive firefighter-themed obstacle courses and demonstrations where families and children can experience firsthand some of the skills, teamwork, and challenges firefighters face while serving the community.
The response from the community has already been overwhelming, with more than 40 vendors and food trucks expected to participate in the event. Organizers say they are excited to showcase a variety of local makers, small businesses, and food vendors from across the region.
“This event is about bringing people together,” organizers shared. “We wanted to create something fun for families while also supporting small businesses, local makers, and our volunteer fire department. We’re excited to make this an annual tradition for our community.”
