Historic Roadman Cemetery Restoration Fundraiser

A fundraiser for the restoration of Historic Roadman Cemetery in Cocke County is set for Saturday, August 22, 2026, at West End Baptist Church. Lunch will be available from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a chicken or a hot dog meal available for $10 each. Forensic expert, inventor, and book author Art Bohanan will present a program at 1:00 PM with donations accepted for the project. His books will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the project. There will be a silent auction with Dollywood tickets, an Airbnb stay, gift baskets, a load of gravel, and many more items available. Proceeds will finish the cemetery restoration, place new fencing around the cemetery, and add a kiosk. Tennessee Historic Graveyard Preservation Services (tennesseegraveyard.com) is overseeing the project.
