Seven more Greene Countians, some who have battled drug and/or alcohol or issues since they were teens and some even longer than that, have taken a major step in their recovery efforts.
The seven, with family, other loved ones and supporters in attendance, took part in Greene County Recovery Court graduation Thursday afternoon.
The ceremony was held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Greeneville.
The most recent graduates are April Brown, Kimberly Compton, Stephen Hensley, Lauren Lady, Kevin Lamons, Richard Meadows and Jacob Tipton.
Whitney Legg, a past graduate of the local recovery court, was the guest speaker.
