August is Child Support Awareness Month in Tennessee, and the Child Support Office in the 3rd Judicial District is marking the occasion with a donation drive to benefit the local Isaiah House in Greeneville.
The drive aims to provide clothing, personal care items, household supplies and other necessities for children in Isaiah House’s care. Donations will be accepted through 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at the Child Support Enforcement/District Attorney General’s Office, 124 Austin St., Greeneville.
Requested items include gift cards, car seats for children weighing 22–65 pounds, Pack ’n Plays, snacks, clothing for children and teens, shoes, personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, home fire extinguishers, twin-size bedding, coffee pods and baby care products.
Donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
