The Greene County Building and Zoning Department will be closing at Noon this Thursday, October 2nd and be closed all day Friday, October 3rd to facilitate its relocation of the new Greene County Administration Center at 401 Takoma Avenue.
A news release late this morning from the County Mayor’s Office says beginning Monday, October 6th, the department will resume normal hours at the new location on the first floor in Suite 102.
The move makes a significant step in improving accessibility and service delivery for Greene County residents. The department’s phone number will remain the same at 423-798-1724.
Building and Zoning will be the sole occupant of the new facility until the Greene County Clerk’s Office joins them on the first floor on October 20th.
