According to the National Weather Service in Morristown a few thunderstorms are possible near the Cumberland Plateau, which may produce some strong wind gusts today and tonight.
For the rest of the week, the probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. There is rain in the forecast through out the week into Sunday, with cooler temperatures and lows at night into the 40’s by that point. By Monday the rain should be clear and we shall see mostly sunny skies, with temperatures rising into the 70’s by Tuesday.
