The return of the “Wings & Wheels on the Greene” cruise-in and fly-in event is set to take place on Saturday, October 21st, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greeneville Municipal Airport.
Wings & Wheels on the Greene welcomes aircraft owners, aviation enthusiasts, and car lovers from all over the Tri-Cities. This annual event is proudly sponsored by AMSEE, the Greene County Partnership and the Greeneville Municipal Airport.
Event Highlights Include:
Car Show: The car show will feature a lineup of classic cars, vintage models, muscle cars and hot rods. From sleek and polished cars to rugged off-road trucks, there will be something for everyone to admire.
Fly-In: Discover a wide selection of aircraft, ranging from antique planes to cutting-edge jets, all available for spectators to view and observe during take-offs and landings.
Food Trucks: Spectators can enjoy an array of delicious offerings from Top Dog Hotdogs, The Whisky Kitchen, Swifty Pig BBQ and Creamy Cup.
Admission to Wings & Wheels on the Greene is free for spectators. For those looking to participate in the cruise-in with their vehicles, a nominal registration fee of $10 applies.
But it’s not just about having fun – the event has a broader purpose. Jeff Taylor, President/CEO of the Greene County Partnership, emphasized, “In addition to providing something fun and family-friendly, this event is also designed to promote the aviation industry and tourism. This is another great event that has a positive and significant economic impact on our community.”
