The deadline to register to vote in the March 5 Presidential Primary is Monday, February 5. Early voting begins on February 14 and continues through February 27 at the Greene County Election Commission Office on CCU Boulevard.
In addition to the Presidential Primary, the March 5 election is also a Greene County Primary Election. Chuck Jeffers is running unopposed in the Republican primary for Assessor of Property.
Two people have filed to run in the Republican primary for 2nd District School Board Member – Tom Cobble and James Wilhoit. And Rick Tipton is running unopposed in the 7th District. Inside the Greeneville city limits, Josh Quillen and Pam Botta are running unopposed for reelection to their city school board seats.
