A Greeneville woman has been arrested in connection with an accident from May 5th, 2023, that took the life of her 10 year-old son.
42 year-old Allison Flanders was arrested Friday on charges of Voluntary Manslaughter. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s preliminary report, on May 5th Flanders was traveling on Jones Bridge Road when her car crossed the center line, leaving the road way, and drove into the ditch striking a tree.
Her son, Jackson Flanders was in the vehicle and died in the crash. Allison Flanders was reportedly trapped inside the car and had to be extracted. She was transported to a nearby hospital by a medical helicopter with life-threatening injuries.
