An Old Stage Road man reported his truck destroyed by fire on Saturday afternoon.
The man had just returned home and went inside. He heard a horn blowing and looked out to see his 2002 Nissan pickup on fire.
The victim called 911 and attempted unsuccessfully to put it out with a fire extinguisher. The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department arrived a short time later and extinguished the fire.
The fire appeared to have started on the passenger side around the dash area. The truck was valued at $5,000.
