A Horton Highway woman reported vandalism to her lawn mower on Monday.
The victim said she left her residence on Saturday morning. When she returned that afternoon, she noticed the hood on her mower was up. Upon inspecting it, she noticed several wires had been stripped and cut. It also appeared someone had tried to siphon gas from the tank.
The mower, which is valued at $3,200, was just recently purchased and had only been used twice.
