A Burnsville, North Carolina man wanted on Violation of Probation charges in that state was taken into custody Thursday at a Pine Street residence in Greeneville.
Greeneville Police report the Buncombe County Fugitive Task Force notified them that 25-year-old Aaron Jamal Rice was staying at that residence.
The Smokey Mountain Fugitive Task Force located him there where he was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center and served with a Fugitive from Justice warrant.
According to the report, the probation violation was related to burglary charges out of Burnsville.
