The Mosheim Police Department is investigating a robbery of the ATM at Consumer Credit Union on West Andrew Johnson Highway early Wednesday morning in which nearly $85,000 was stolen.
Officers were dispatched to the ATM alarm around 1:15 in the morning. Upon arrival, they found the front of the ATM had been pulled off and the cash boxes had been removed. Surveillance video showed three suspects wearing masks driving a Ford F350, which was found to be stolen from Greeneville. The truck was recovered around 100 yards from the bank and the suspects were reportedly picked up by another vehicle. Approximately $84,670 was stolen from the ATM.
