The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an early morning fire Sunday on Middle Creek Road.
Units from the Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the 9-1-1 call around 7 am to find a car, the surrounding wooded area and tires on fire.
The fire was extinguished before it could spread further.
The Sheriff’s Department continues to look into the origin of the fire and the person or persons involved.
