The 2025-2026 school year officially kicked off for the Greeneville City School System with system wide in-service activities on the Greeneville High campus.
Following breakfast in the GHS Cafe’ Director of Schools Steve Starnes opened the in-service activities at the NPAC.
Dr. Todd Whitaker, a nationally recognized expert on school leadership and teacher effectiveness was the keynote speaker for the event.

For students not already registered , Friday will the first day for students.
Greeneville High School Freshmen will be required to attend. School hours will be 7:30 until 10:45 am on Friday.
Greeneville Middle School 6th graders and new students will be required to attend. GMS school hours Friday will be from 7:40 am until 10:40 am.
