Police stopped a Moped around 1:45 Friday afternoon, at Forest Hills Drive and Snapps Ferry Road. The driver of the Moped was wearing a helmet, but the passenger was not.
The driver was identified as Cynthia Arrieta of Housley Avenue, who had a suspended license. The passenger was identified as Crissy Norton of Unaka Street, who showed to have a warrant for violation of probation out of Greene County. Norton was taken to the Greene County Detention Center, and Arrieta was issued a criminal summons for driving on a suspended license, court date set for Monday morning.
