A Mosheim woman wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested on drug charges after she was found passed out in her vehicle Thursday afternoon.
The Greeneville Police Department responded around 3:30 PM to Pruitt Road North on the report of a woman who was slumped over in the driver’s seat. Christina Jones of West Andrew Johnson Highway was behind the vehicle when police arrived and had thrown up on herself. Jones had a violation of probation warrant.
A search of her purse produced 7.8 grams of marijuana, .2 grams of meth, one clonazepam pill, and three suboxone strips. She was also found to be in possession of two cut straws, one scale, a glass pipe with drug residue, and a baggie with residue.
In addition to her outstanding warrant, Jones was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for simple possession of meth, possession of schedule 3, 4, and 6 drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
