The weather forecast and river levels are favorable for TVA to resume its post-Helene minor repair work on the Nolichucky Dam spillway on the Asheville Highway.
Crews are planning to open the spillway maintenance gate this Sunday, July 6. The reservoir will be lowered at that time and will remain in a lowered state over the next few weeks as we complete these minor repairs.
