Greene LEAF, the foundation for Greene County Schools, announced today at $2,500 donation from the First Horizon Foundation. The First Horizon Foundation grant will go towards towards the Greene County Schools technology initiative, led by Greene LEAF, the foundation for Greene County Schools. The presentation was made by Jennifer Keller, vice president of First Horizon Bank.
The First Horizon Foundation had donated more than $90 million in the communities they serve to meet local needs. Since its inception, Greene LEAF has undertaken a fundraising drive, provided thousands of computers and tablets for schools, supported a variety of initiatives focused on literacy and started an awards program to recognize notable Greene County School System alumni.
