Greeneville City Council will consider several resolutions for 2026 fiscal year budgets when it meets Tuesday afternoon.
On the agenda is second and final reading of the fiscal year 2026 budget and setting of the property tax rate for the Town of Greeneville.
Also slated for passage are budget approvals for the Greeneville/Greene County Public Library and the Greeneville Municipal Airport, along with funding for the Dickson-Williams Mansion, Greene County Partnership and Boys & Girls Club.
Special event sign requests for the Greene County Fair, the “Jogging for Jess” benefit run and the “Dog House Anniversary Celebration” will also be considered during Tuesday’s meeting. A special event application for Gifts for Kids for July 11 will also be considered.
City Council will also vote on the reappointment of Ben Brooks to the Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission during Tuesday’s meeting.
Also on the agenda are bids for resurfacing of several city streets, including West Vann Road, Austin Street and Bohannon Avenue.
Greeneville City Council meets Tuesday, June 17 at 4 p.m. in the G. Thomas Love Board Room.
