A motorcycle pursuit Wednesday night in Washington County has left a 65-year-old Jonesborough man facing multiple charges.
Deputies saw a red motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Old State Route 34 around 7:30 Wednesday night. Clark McInturff attempted to evade deputies but was taken into custody along Bill West Road after the cycle ran out of gas.
During the pursuit, McInturff was seeing throwing items from his pocket. Two pill containers were recovered — one with a half-gram of meth, and the other with two hydrocodone pills and three grams of marijuana.
McInturff was charged with evading arrest, driving while revoked and several drug violations. His bond was set in Washington County at $42,000.
