Several people were recognized for their contributions to the Greeneville City Schools at the system’s annual Personnel Banquet, held at the Greene County Fairgrounds on Thursday.

Kelly Ford of Eastview was named Principal of the Year, and Phillip Graham, Operations Supervisor, was named Supervisor of the Year.
Retirees honored included: Cathy Dickey – Eastview, Tim Minnick – Highland, Bambi Bumpus – GMS, Deanna Martin – GHS, Beth Ricker – GHS, Susan Hankins – GHS, and Melissa Babb – GHS.

Meredith Stevans, GHS math teacher, received the Robert E. “Eddie” Jordan Character in Education Award.

Teresa Clarkson of the GTC received the Dr. Linda Stroud Rising Star Award.

Carolyn Parman was named the Paraprofessional of the Year.

Ron Metcalfe received the Robert Keasling Friends of Education Award.
- Cathy Dickey was presented with the Katherine Leonard Outstanding Service to Students Award. The award was presented by the Leonard family on behalf of the Greene County Partnership.
