Greeneville 7 – Volunteer 2
The Greene Devils trailed the Falcons 2-1 at the half before exploding for 6 goals in the second half to capture the 7-2 conference win. The Greene Devils, who had 14 shots on goal to 3 for their opponent, were led by Samuel Gourley and his 5 goals. Simon Holt and Emmerson Hensley both got in on the scoring action as well.

North Greene 31 – Cloudland 0 (5-innings)
The Huskies got off the bus swinging the bats and did not stop as they poured on the offensive onslaught scoring in every inning and staying perfect on the year at 7-0. Brady Malone and Isaac Gaby both picked up 4 hits on the day and each of them drove in 6 runs each. Malone had 2 doubles and 2 singles, while Gaby had 4 singles. North Greene’s pitchers (Aiden Halley, Tyler Britton, and Malone) limited the Highlanders to 5 hits on the day while collecting 6 strikeouts.
Chuckey Doak 14 Johnson County 2
After spotting the Longhorns a 1-0 lead after the first inning, the Black Knights scored 7 in the second and never looked back on the way to the conference victory. The Black Knights pounded out 17 hits with Kypton Ball and Randall Sauceman each gathering four. Ball had 4 singles, while Sauceman garnered 3 singles and a double. Ball was also dominant on the mound scattering 5 hits in 6 innings of work, while striking out 6 and walking 3. The Black Knights are now 6-5 on the season.
Hampton 3 – West Greene 1
The Buffaloes put runners on base, but unfortunately could not produce enough runs to support Conner Campbell’s pitching performance. Campbell surrendered 8 hits over the complete game and limited the Bulldogs to 3 runs.
South Greene 11 – Happy Valley 5
Colby Brooks drove in 3 runs with a double and single as the Rebels pick up their second consecutive conference win in as many days. Brendan Lisenby and Cameron Kinser each picked up two singles at the plate. Tyler Davis started on the mond for the Rebels and went 4 1/3 innings surrendering 3 runs on 3 hits while striking out 5 and walking 4. Jacob Susong picked up the win in 2 2/3 relief innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 6 strikeouts and 4 walks.
Tennis:
Boys: Sevier County 9 – Greeneville 0
Girls: Sevier County 7 – Greeneville 2
Grace Lampe picked up a victory in singles’ action 9-7, while the doubles’ team of Emma Sauceman and Brylee Catron came in with a 8-4 decision.
