The Mosheim Police Department announced Wednesday the annual enrollment period for Project Silver Check, a community outreach initiative dedicated to supporting the safety and well-being of elderly residents and individuals with medical conditions.
Through Project Silver Check, community members are encouraged to refer loved ones, neighbors, or friends who may live alone, face mobility challenges, or manage ongoing health concerns. Once enrolled, Mosheim police officers will conduct scheduled wellness checks, either weekly or as needed, by phone or in person. These visits are designed to provide reassurance, identify potential needs, and connect individuals with resources or assistance when necessary.
