Over 820 people attended the 19th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance this past weekend.
Amanda Waddell, director of the Greeneville City Schools Education Foundation, said the dance included not only Greeneville City School students, but daddies and daughters from all over Greene County. Waddell said that, volunteers from GCEF and the GSIA worked hard to make the night special.

Waddell said the GSIA uses their portion for scholarships for GHS students and has raised over $65,000 dollars thanks to the dance. The GCSEF uses its portion to fund teacher grants and district-wide projects.
Waddell says the Foundations next fundraiser is Mardi Growl, a dog parade that will take place at Depot Street on March 1st. More information on that will be announced later.
