An East Bernard Avenue residence was heavily damaged by fire Wednesday night.
Units from the Greeneville Fire Department responded to the 9:54 pm call at 317 East Bernard.
A passerby had called 9-1-1 stating flames were coming from the front of the house. Units arrived to find heavy fire present. The homeowner reported everyone was out of the structure.
A Grteeneville Fire Department report listed damage to the home at $150,000. Content loss was listed at $75,000.
Units were on the scene until just before 1 am. Investigators are scheduled to return to the scene today to determine the exact cause of the fire.
