Andrew Johnson Bank Ladies Classic Begins December 26th in Greeneville
The Andrew Johnson Bank Ladies Classic will celebrate its 35th event this December 2024, at Hal Henard Gymnasium in Greeneville, Tennessee. The Town of Greeneville and the Greeneville Parks & Recreation Department took over the reins of the event in 2019 with support from the Greene County Partnership and other local agencies. The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, the Greeneville City School System and many local businesses will be helping at the 2024 event.
This year’s tournament will consist of 20 teams, with games over 5 days, except for Sunday, the 29th, which will be an off day. The Ladies Classic traditionally brings together some of the top girls’ basketball teams in Tennessee as well as neighboring states to battle for the coveted crown.

All five of the local teams – Greeneville, South Greene, West Greene, Chuckey-Doak and North Greene – will participate, while other squads considered as “regional” teams will be Daniel Boone, David Crockett, Cocke County, Knox Catholic, Knox Bearden, Morristown West, Oak Ridge, and Knox Webb. Out of town teams include Upperman from Tennessee, Marist School of Georgia, Spring Valley of West Virginia, Spring Garden of Alabama, Farmington of Arkansas, and two teams from South Carolina – J L Mann and Riverside.
