A man wanted on warrants for Violation of the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry and Violation of Probation was arrested on Sunday.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a home on the 3700 block of Old Baileyton Road in Greeneville after midnight. Deputies responded for a warrant check on 43 year-old James Huffman. When deputies arrived they pulled into a driveway and saw the suspect walking away from a vehicle. Huffman reportedly disappeared.
With consent to search, deputies entered a residence and located the suspect hiding in the living room. He was taken into custody for his active warrants and transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
