The early vote total in Greene County has surpassed that of the 2020 election, with three days of early voting remaining before next Tuesday’s election.
There were 1,464 early votes on Monday, bringing the total number of early votes since October 16 to 15,453. Four years ago, there were 15,220 votes during the entire early voting period.
Early vote turnout continues to run about 32 percent ahead of the 2020 pace, and in-person early voting is up 51 percent from four years ago through 11 days of voting.
The Greene County Election Commission office on CCU Boulevard will be open today and Thursday from 8:30 AM until 6:00 PM, and on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.
