Eight qualifying teams will battle for the red banner in Greeneville. The 2024 NAIA Beach Volleyball Invitational is a three-day event. On day one, the competition will open with pool play, and all teams will advance to a single-elimination bracket following pool play. The 2024 invitational is scheduled for April 25-27 at the Hardin Park Beach Volleyball Complex.
The teams qualifying for the invitation are Arizona Christian University, Ave Maria University (Fla.), Corban University (Ore.), Ottawa University Surprise (Ariz.), Park University (Mo.), The University of Saint Katherine (Calif.), Vanguard University (Calif.) and Webber International University (Fla.).
Qualifying teams either received an automatic bid or an at-large bid to advance to the invitational. The four automatic bids were determined by conference/group tournament champions, while the unaffiliated grouping of AMC/Heart/KCAC/Sooner teams had to have a team ranked in the Top 10 for a team from that grouping to earn an automatic qualifier. The final Coaches’ Top 10 Rating determined the four at-large bids that had not already qualified through their conference or unaffiliated grouping.
Five of the teams that qualified for the 2024 invitational also qualified for both the 2022 and 2023 events, including the previous invitational champions Corban (Ore.) (2022) and Vanguard (Calif.) (2023). Arizona Christian, Ave Maria (Fla.) and Saint Katherine (Calif.) join the championship field for the first time. Webber International (Fla.) enters the invitational field with a 13-match win streak.
The first match of the tournament will be at 10:00AM on Thursday, April 25th between Corban and Webber International. Admission for the event will be free. The championship match is set to be played on Saturday, April 27th at 2:00PM.
