Several Warrant Arrests were made over the weekend.
Early Saturday morning in the 1600 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway, officers observed Adam Augis of Bird Drive, inside a business. Records check showed Augis had an active Violation of Probation warrant and he was taken into custody. During a search, a small baggie containing 1.9 grams of a crystal-like substance believed to be meth was located on Augis’s person. He was additionally charged with simple possession of methamphetamine.

Officers located Christopher Thacker at the 400 block of Elk Street Friday evening. Thacker was attempting to hide inside a closet, but was removed and taken into custody. Thacker was served Violation of Probation warrants, first and second offense.

Around 9:30 Friday night, police responded to a call on Holly Creek Road. Christopher Cruz was shown to have an open warrant. His Jeep was allegedly parked in the driveway with the door open. Two men were carrying a sofa out of a residence, one of which was Cruz. He was placed under arrest and taken to the Greene County Detention Center.

Just before 5:00 AM Saturday, police located Katy Franklin in the woods in a camp behind C.C.U. Boulevard. Franklin showed an active Violation of Probation warrant and was transported to the Greene County detention center.
