An Afton man was arrested after guns, ammunition and drugs were found during a traffic stop early this morning on Calico Road.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department stopped a Honda Civic shortly before 1:00 AM after the car was seen on Middle Creek Road traveling on the center line for an extended amount of time. The driver, Sebastian Geiger of Statler Park, could not provide insurance information for the vehicle. He reportedly appeared nervous and defensive. Geiger refused to step out of the car several times before he finally opened the door. A .40 caliber pistol and a small revolver were seen when he stepped out of the car. The pistol had 19 rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. The revolver had five rounds loaded. Both guns were taken for police safety.
A glass pipe was found during a search of Geiger. A large baggie with 108 grams of methamphetamine was found in the car, along with a digital scale and five more small baggies. Ammunition was found in the glove box as well.
Geiger was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
