The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will meet Tuesday morning and discuss preliminary and final approval for a site plan showing construction on the Texas Roadhouse restaurant.
Texas Roadhouse would be located near the intersection of U.S. 11E and Harlan Street and would be about 9,000 sq. ft. The site is about 3 acres and includes 221 parking spaces. According to the agenda for today’s meeting, traffic engineer Cannon & Cannon performed a traffic signal warrant study. It indicated a traffic signal was warranted at the intersection of Serral Drive, U.S. 11E, and the new entrance proposed for the ‘Shops of Greeneville’ commercial development.
A proposal for engineering services for the traffic signal was submitted to the town for approval. A schedule for the opening of Texas Roadhouse and for the signal to be installed has not been provided. The site plan does meet all zoning and site development requirements, according to staff.
The meeting will be at held at 9:30 AM at the Greeneville Energy Authority Building, in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom.
