Seven Brew Drive-thru Coffee’s construction on the corner of North Rufe Taylor Road and adjacent to Taco Bell has been moving along just fine.
The construction crew has already built the foundation and got a building up since the site plan was approved in January. It seems as if in just a couple weeks the crew went from just dirt on the ground to now looking nearly finished. The Project Manager said they are still hitting their goal of 8-10 weeks to finish with the project.
The new coffee spot with reportedly over 20,000 flavors will bring in a different type of atmosphere as the developer said they make their drive-thru experience fun for their customers. He also mentioned during a meeting that the company aims to provide fast service and no car stays for more than 3-4 minutes, which should help with the traffic flow.
The site plan approved showed a 525 square foot building, associated parking, and drive-thru entrances and exits. There’s already an existing entrance near the East Andrew Johnson Highway but a new entrance was to be constructed to connect with N. Rufe Taylor Rd. There is no indoor seating.
Seven Brew’s normal operating hours are from 5:30 AM to 10 PM. The completion date is still set for this summer, possibly in July or sooner, weather permitting.
